Costa Brava, August 2018

Costa Brava, August 2018

Lloret de Mar is one of those brilliant coastal resorts that make the Costa Brava so special. With curving sandy beaches, and impeccably blue water, it’s easy to see why visitors flock to its shores year after year, so of course we have to start visiting!

Blue Sea Montevista Hawai is located in a quiet residential area of Lloret de Mar, just 500 metres from the beach and the town centre, and we’re planning a trip for 7 nights in August. Your dates depending on which airport you’d prefer to fly from. So decide to fly into Girona Airport from Cork on August 2nd, prices currently just €135, or a day earlier from Dublin on August 1st, with prices currently at €212.

All rooms are large in size, with a double bed or twin beds. They provide all the essentials including air conditioning and heating, a flat-screen TV, WiFi for a charge, phone, safe, wardrobe, and en-suite bathroom with hair dryer. They’re also neutrally decorated, with large sliding doors onto a private balcony or terrace.

Once you’ve checked in and relaxed into your room, pull up a sun lounger in the garden, or take a dip in the large outdoor swimming pool. WiFi’s free in reception, and little ones will be well cared for with a daily entertainment program, plus a playground to explore.

There’s also a games room with a pool table for big and little kids, and a gym for those looking to get a little extra exercise in.
Our all-inclusive dining option means all your meals, plus a good range of snacks and drinks, are included, and there’s also the option to enjoy show cookery, something that’s sure to get the kids excited for dinnertime.

Being just 800 metres from both the beach and the town centre, sunny beach days are just a short stroll away, and wandering into town for dinner or drinks is as easy peasy.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style in the main dining room at the Blue Sea Montevista Hawai. Show-cooking livens things up in the evening, and a large selection of options are available for all meals. The hotel’s all-inclusive package includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus snacks, including hot dogs, chips, fruit, ice cream, and more. Drinks are also included in the price, with soft drinks, and local wine, beer, and spirits all on offer between 10am and 11pm.

From blissful beaches and gardens to bass-pumping clubs and bars, Lloret de Mar is a town of variety, colour and vibrancy. In many ways, it’s remained close to its roots, with traditional festivals and celebrations dotting the yearly calendar. The unspoilt coastline is also widely celebrated, with daily cruises and sailing trips leaving the harbour in the summer time. Kayaking, swimming, and diving are popular, but if chilling on the beach is more your style, you won’t be disappointed.

The town itself is a riot of life, lit up each evening with lively bars where visitors from all across the world mingle with friendly locals. Family-run restaurants serving hearty local cuisine make way for lively clubs and bars. Whether you’re after a quiet dinner for two, or a shots-all-night dance-a-thon, Lloret de Mar has something for you.

So join us in August, fly into Girona Airport, and as usual FLIGHTS ARE NOT INCLUDED but airport transfers are, prices per family as follows:

NOTE: If one or more families fly from the same airport, the rate can be reduced!!
