This charming park has been created and carved from the heart of its natural surroundings providing enjoyment to everybody seeking something real and the feeling of being at one with rustic surroundings.
You may feel like you’ve stumbled across a low-key festival where the whole vibe is pretty lively, because here, you will not find the usual purpose-built park, but the traditional styling of the place making it unique and special.
Join us for a 3 night midweek break in July, arriving at your leisure on Sunday July 14th and feel yourself immediately relax and unwind in your lush ecopod, stilted cabin, shepherd’s hut or vintage caravan, listen to the bird-song, feed the resident swans and soothe your soul.
There is a fantastic range of local activities and events on offer all year round, and battlebridge is an excellent base for exploring the Shannon Blueway, visiting Carrick on Shannon and spending an afternoon in the wonderful Lough Key Forest Park. You’ll easily fill your days while you’re here, and onsite you’ll find a lovely pub & restaurant along with a communal fully equipped kitchen, so this little holiday can be as self-catering as the mood takes you!
There is also a children’s playground, slipway for boating, marina, full bathing and laundry facilities all within the riverside 2 acre site for you to enjoy. Also, for one evening we have included an evening meal for the group in Carrick on Shannon with return transport, so you can have a lovely group meal and take time to wander around the town before the bus brings you back to the comfort of your cosy glamping bed.
