Glamping in Carrick on Shannon, July & August 2016

Having had a camping trip in the Summer of 2014, we’ve decided to do it again, only this time make it a little less work and try out some Glamping, and this trip has proven so popular we’re doing it twice! Fully furnished Teepee’s and Bell Tents are waiting for you, with one per family so there’s plenty of room for you to spread out and relax.

Set on a timber deck, each spacious Bell Tent and Teepee have comfortable beds with cosy duvets, bedding, extra blankets for evenings by the campfire, storage and seating for everyone. But if rustic camping is more your thing, you can bring your own tent for a reduced rate and still enjoy all the activities and meals with the group.

So arrive at your leisure on either Sunday July 24th or Sunday August 21st, to this stunning riverside location just outside the bustling town of Carrick on Shannon and settle into your private tent. We’ll spend the first evening getting to know each other properly.

A delicious BBQ meal of burgers, chicken, sausages, vegetable kabobs are all served with breads, salads and crisps, after which we’ll have a singsong around the campfire and toast marshmallows for dessert.

is this suitable for a 4 year old

    • Hi Tim, I’m bringing my 4yo nephew because he’ll love it, so as long as you’re happy with the toddler in all the activities then they will be too. You’d have to stay with them for some of it, but we can see how old the kids are with the confirmed group closer to the time. Let me know what you think 🙂

  3. HI Teresa, I’d be brining my 5 year old son, have you had any other bookings yet since mid Dec comment above, I just want to be sure it’s not all older children before booking. also, how many in the group overall usually does it end up being please?

  7. Hi Rose, I have a 5 year old girl and a 1.5 year old girl too. Would it be ok to bring a 1.5 year old on this trip? I know I would have to keep her with me at all time, I don’t mind that at all , but would it be suitable for the group to have a younger toddler there too?
    Thank you
