Join us for a mid-week break in August, on the West Coast in the beautiful North Co. Clare, right in the middle of gorgeous seaside village, Doolin. We have put together a three night stay to include an evening meal in the village, and an afternoon out at the amazing Doolin Caves, leaving you plenty of time to explore everything else this amazing location has to offer.
Arrive at your leisure on Monday August 5th for three nights, and immediately start to enjoy your beautiful surroundings. Doolin Glamping is located in the heart of the charming seaside village of Doolin, north county Clare. The park, which overlooks the Aille river, is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac in the centre of Doolin. Less than 50 meters from Fitz’s cross where you’ll find Hotel Doolin, Fitz’s Pub, two restaurants, craft shops, a tourist information point and a pantry/off-licence. Also within a short five minute walk are all of Doolin’s other famous pubs, O’Connor’s, McGann’s and McDermott’s, all serve excellent food and have traditional music sessions nightly.
All of the luxurious Bell Tents are raised off the ground on timber stands, each with a double Mexican pine bed as standard, matching furnishings, semi-orthopaedic mattress, bean bags, bed linen and towels. Additional fold out beds with bed linen can be included on request, and each tent is provided with electric hook up to power the bedside lamp, electric heaters or charge phones. At night the tents are lit up inside by our tea light candle chandeliers and Moroccan lanterns, and outside by solar lights.
There are also two individual and unusual options to choose from. An Indian Tipi, situated on its own private area located near the entrance to the park and is fully furnished with electric hook up, lighting and a electric stove. Or the gorgeous and lovingly restored vintage caravan, called the Fr. Ted. The interior is decorated in a retro design, furnished with a vintage radio, comfy duvets, bunting and lots of pillows. The seating area converts into a queen size double so this sleeps a maximum of 2, and we also provide a electric heater to provide warmth in the cooler evenings. Outside, as you take in the view of the countryside there is a small seating area with table and chairs and a fire-pit to provide warmth late into the evenings. A charcoal BBQ is provided on request and some logs for the fire-pit to get you started.
Located within meters of your tent are the Reception and tourist information point, a small campers shop, fully equipped campers kitchen, including cookers, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, toilets, showers, self service laundry, TV and games lounge, Free High Speed Wi-Fi throughout the site, Selection of board games and book exchange, BBQ area, Communal fire pit and Free private parking.
