Here we go again! For any Harry Potter fans this is an amazing trip, which includes a tour of the Harry Potter film set in Warner Studios, London.
Get behind-the-scenes and explore the secrets that made this franchise so special. See the various costumes, props and eye-watering effects that brought Harry Potter adventures to life on-screen, an experience like no other.
Your tour is on one day during your stay in London, near Watford Junction. Just a few minutes walk from your hotel is the bus stop for the shuttle that runs directly to Warner Bros Studios, which is just £2.50pp return and takes just 15mins to get you to the entrance. Buses run every 20mins, so it’s easy to plan your trip and make the most of your time here.
We have found a 3* Hotel close to Watford Junction, which would be very comfortable for your stay in London and within easy walking distance of Watford Junction and town.
The 3* Hotel is comfortable and modern, with very friendly staff and free Wifi throughout. Arrive Wednesday April 24th for 2 nights including the Harry Potter Experience, or extend your stay to 3 nights and include a day out in London, just 20 mins from Watford Junction to Euston Station in Central London.
You can fly into any London Airport, but as this location is not particularly close to any airport, the average taxi journey will be £50 one way to the hotel on arrival. For this reason, I’d suggest flying into Birmingham wherever possible and availing of the direct train from Birmingham Airport to Watford Junction for approx. £22pp, and you avoid having to navigate the London Underground! Wherever you decide to stay, or for how long, one thing you’ll all be doing together is the Harry Potter Experience.
Green Screen animation, mechanical puppets and astounding special effects are all part of the Harry Potter Experience, and you’ll be here for approximately 3 hours to give you plenty of time to let everything sink in.
Your first 30 minutes is a guided tour of the studio, including information on popular interactive sets, some stories about the adventures of the cast and crew during filming, and so much more.
See how they made Hagrid so gigantic, with exquisite attention to detail in his hut.
The intricate costumes worn by each character, brought to life by the actors who wore them.
The Hogwarts Express and Platform 9 & 3/4.
Dobby, up close and personal.
The Great Hall with dining tables of all four houses, each 100m in length.
And so, so much more…
Flights and airport transfers are not included, but 2 or 3 nights in 3* centrally located hotel, and the Harry Potter Experience are. Arrive at your leisure on Wednesday April 24th, for 2 or 3 nights, prices as follows:
