Legoland, March 26th 2018

We plan on having a few trips to Legoland, and have put together a package where you can choose to go Budget or Blow-Out with a choice of TWO hotels close by.

Your budget option is a lovely Hotel in Slough, a short walk from the bus station where you can get a bus to and from LEGOLAND ® . If you’re happy to explore the area a little, then make your way to Windsor and avail of the Legoland Shuttle Bus from the town centre, or take the underground into London City Centre, it’s right on your doorstep.

Comfortable rooms can accommodate up to four and all feature ensuite bathrooms, flat screen TV, Cocooning black out curtains and luxury bedding for a very comfortable sleep. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and the reception is open 24/7.

Breakfast is not included in your rate here, but up to two children get free breakfast when one adult orders the Full English Breakfast priced at just £8.99, and the evening menu is very reasonably priced with kids 2course dinner and a drink for just £5.50, and if you’d like to go half-board, you can choose to get unlimited breakfast daily, and a 2 course evening meal with a glass of wine or a pint, for just £23.99 per day.

If you’d like to upgrade for more luxury, we have found a beautiful 4* hotel and leisure centre surrounded by a 40 acre landscaped Estate just 8k from Legoland and Thorpe Park.

Most of the rooms enjoy scenic views over the gardens, the Leisure Club features a heated indoor swimming pool and gym, and on the beautiful estate you’ll also find elegant fountains and a restored Victorian Chapel.

Park tickets for 2 days are included in both the Budget and Blow Out rates, so head in early and make the most of this spectacular resort for two full days during your stay.

At the LEGOLAND ® Windsor Resort the entertainment is certainly hands-on. Children can take to the road, soar through the skies and sail the seas. With over 50 interactive rides, live shows, building workshops, driving schools and attractions, all set in 150 acres of beautiful parkland, LEGOLAND ® Windsor is a different sort of family theme park.

Pirate Falls Treasure Chest, Balloon School, Fire Academy, Miniland Model Display and LEGO® City Driving School are just a small selection of the entertainment and attractions available throughout the Park.

As you’re right in the town centre, you’re just minutes from countless attractions such as Windsor Castle, Dorney Court Tudor Manor House, and of course none other than Thorpe Park.

With rides suitable for children and adults of all ages and sensibilities, Thorpe Park is an exciting day out and less than 7miles from your hotel, and you can choose from Fastrack, Thrill Rides, Water Rides and Family Rides depending on the age of your children.

Flights to London airport are available from all Irish airports, but the most popular is Stansted Airport, which is also the furthest from Windsor town. The closest airport to get to your hotel is Heathrow Airport, but the price of the flight increases substantially. So fly into London, as usual FLIGHTS ARE NOT INCLUDED, and check into your choice of hotel on Monday March 26th for 3 nights, Room Only for the 3* option or B&B for the 4* Blow Out option.

Hi I’d be interested in budget package. I was going to travel with eurolines (only €95 for 4 of us each way). How can I book this and is there a group going to be going? Thanks Cathy

    • Hi Catherine, no other families have confirmed as yet, but I can send you on the booking details if you’d like. I just need you to email on your children’s names and ages 🙂

      • Hi Rose,
My children’s details are as follows:
        Oscar Prendergast age 9
        Harvey Prendergast age 8
        Oliver Prendergast age 5
What is the name of the budget hotel and where is it situated?
        Thanks again

  2. Hi
I would be interested in the budget option for one child. Will this go ahead despite numbers or will so many families have to sign up?

    • Hi Sinead, This does not need minimum numbers to go ahead, but if you’d prefer to wait and see how many book in that’s no problem. In order for me to send on the booking details I just need the name of you child as it appears on their passport, and the age at the time of the trip 🙂

  3. Hi do you take deposit ? My son is 16. Does he qualify as a child still? I’d lime the 1aduly 2 kids budget package please

    • Hi Aisling, a €100 deposit secures your place, and the prices are based on room only in the hotel, and Legoland price per person over 2yrs old, so I can give you the rate quoted for 1 adult & 2 kids. Just email me on your children’s full names as they appear on your passports, and their ages at time of travel, and I’ll send on the booking details.

  4. Hi Rose,
Just checking….have you booked for me and my 3 sons? If so what are the dates etc as I would like to book Eurolines. THANKYOU!
I am unable to read much of the details on your email responses so could you also please CC my wok email its

    Thanks again

    • Hi Catherine, no problem, I’ll resend the booking emails now with all the details. You’d be arriving March 26th and departing March 29th 🙂
