This is an overnight stay by coach and ferry to see Liverpool v Stoke City on Saturday April 28th, so the group leaves in the early hours of Friday April 27th and returns in the evening of Sunday April 29th 2018.

Once everyone has met at the last meeting point, Irish Ferries Terminal Building, you’ll board Irish Ferries ‘Ulysses’ and spend the morning exploring this fantastic ship. Enjoy the stunning coastal views and experience the age-old tradition of the arrival and departure of the ship from the Sandycove Promenade Deck (Deck 11). Taking a refreshing stroll on the wide walkways while enjoying the open air is must.
Catch the latest movie releases in the two screen cinema with Dolby surround sound and refreshment kiosk. These modern cinemas offer tiered seating and all the films change regularly. Or there’s Cyclops Family Entertainment Centre, which provides a high-tech world where you can test your skill with the latest video and electronic games. There is also a specially constructed climbing area for young children.
At 11.35am, the ferry lands in Holyhead, and your coach will transfer you all directly to your hotel. You can then check in at approximately 2pm, giving you a free afternoon and evening in Liverpool.
On Saturday April 28th, breakfast is served between 7-10am, tickets allocated at noon, and the bus departs for Anfield at 12.30pm. At 1pm you’ll arrive at Anfield in plenty of time to savour the pre-match atmosphere, as LFC’s Family Park is open three hours before kick-off on a matchday. Located on Anfield Road, the Family Park is bursting with loads of great interactive activities, including an inflatable five-a-side football pitch, face painting, table footballs, target cages where you can test your shooting skills, and a fantastic speed cage. We also have live music acts and freestylers in the park to get you in the mood for the game. As well as loads of great activities, LFC’s cheeky mascot, Mighty Red, will be there to meet and greet families.
Within the park they offer a variety of food options, including the ‘Grill’ bar, which serves a variety of succulent burgers amongst a number of other dishes, the ‘Chippy’ bar, which sells your traditional chip shop offerings including fish and chips, pies and sausages, and the Coffee bar, which serves a variety of special coffees and locally sourced cakes and sandwiches. We also have a bar serving alcoholic beverages, including club sponsor Carlsberg.
The Family Park is free to enter – simply show your match ticket.
Experience the Family Zone located in the Anfield Road Stand. The Family Zone is designed with families in mind and is the perfect way for families to enjoy Anfield’s electric matchday atmosphere. The Family Zone has lots of interactive activities to keep all members of the family entertained including face painting, refreshment kiosks and a huge 120 metre painted wall which has loads of cool facts and information about LFC.
Then it’s Kick-off at 3pm! Enjoy Liverpool v Stoke City and at full-time whistle make your way out of the stadium and meet the coach for optional transfer back to your hotel via the city centre.
On Sunday April 29th, the bus collects and group and leaves for the ferry at 10am, arriving in Holyhead at noon in plenty of time for the ferry’s departure at 2.10pm. On board you can enjoy a snooze and some relaxation after a long day, in the James Joyce Balcony Lounge with reclining seats, before the ferry docks in Dublin at 5.35pm.
