It’s a place to be with friends and enjoy drinks and food for a social mood, perfect for a relaxing Manchester Weekend. Ideally located in Manchester’s most vibrant new neighbourhood, First Street, Street on 1st’s food takes inspiration from the world – the heart of which is being social.

Now that you have settled into your luxury hotel, it’s time to get out and explore everything Manchester City has to offer. Football fans will want to do the Stadium Tours at Old Trafford and/or Manchester City Football Club, and these are easily access via Tram, although both in opposite directions from the hotel. There’s also the National Football Museum, perfect for every football lover, no matter what team you support.

It’s not just about the footie though, there is plenty more attractions and activities for kids and adults alike. If you’re already heading over to Old Trafford, then on the same side of city (West) you’ll find Sea Life Aquarium, with over 5,000 creatures including sharks, seahorses, octopus, jellyfish and rays.

Heading further West you’ll find Namco Funscape, with Bowling Alley, Dodgem Track and Arcade, and right next door the ever-popular Legoland Discovery Centre, the ultimate indoor Lego Playground.

For the more adventurous you have to try Manchester’s indoor real snow centre, Chill Factore. Skiing, Sledding, Snow Luge and Snowboarding to name just a few Winter Sports you can enjoy before the beginning of Summer! Or how about jumping from a plane? Or at least get a feel for it with iFly Indoor Skydiving.

If the weather demands some outside fun, then Trafford Ecology Park is the perfect place to picnic by the small lake, while Challenge for Change is a HUGE indoor urban adventure centre for guaranteed fun for all ages.

Staying closer to the city centre, and around your hotel, you can visit the Science and Industry Museum, home to the world’s oldest surviving passenger railway station, and the world’s first railway warehouse. Right next door there’s the amazing Crystal Maze Experience for an afternoon out with a difference, or pop over to Manchester Art Gallery for an interactive and learning experience for everyone.

If that’s not enough to keep you busy, there’s KickAir Manchester, the largest indoor activity park in the North West of England. It has an array of activities, including, exclusive rights to the Robokeeper, trampolines, climbing walls, soft play and much more. Treetop Adventure Golf at The Printworks will whisk visitors away from reality into a world of mini golf adventures, while the unique and relaxing ambience of Cat Cafe Manchester is not one to be missed.
