We have had some fantastic holidays with single parents and their children, but I have been asked many times for a trip with adults only, because single parents need a break too!
So, once again, your wish is my command and I have arranged an Adult-Only trip for our parents. As we require all single rooms, I had to search all over Ireland for the very best rate, and I definitely found it.
We’re heading back to what may become our most visited hotel this year, Claytons Whites of Wexford. They have give us an upgrade for everyone to Classic Rooms, which are well designed and more spacious, located on the 3rd & 4th floor of the hotel. With air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and each with a double and single bed, you’d be forgiven for not leaving your room the entire weekend.
Arriving Friday September 23rd at your leisure, and meet the rest of the group in the bar or out in the courtyard. There are no plans for this evening’s meal, so you can grab a bite in the bar or head into Wexford Town for dinner, the evening is all yours.
While you’re staying here you have full use of their 4* Leisure Centre & Spa, so make the most of it with a long lazy dip in the pool, or take things up a notch and treat yourself to some Spa time. You know you’re worth it.
As we’re less than a minutes walk from Wexford’s main shopping strip, and located right on the Harbour, you can easily wander into town for some shopping, a quick coffee or a sneaky lunch time drink in any of the many fantastic venues scattered throughout the town.
If you fancy a day out some of you might decide to venture further and visit Curracloe Beach, for some lovely long walks on this beautiful stretch of Wexford’s coastline. No need to worry about bringing the buckets and spades though, unless you’re into building sand castles, because you’re here for your own enjoyment and no-one else’s.
Saturday evening we’ll meet in the bar at some stage and then have a group dinner in the hotel restaurant together, then back to the bar for few drinks. Some might decide to head into town to meet the locals, because you’re under no restrictions with the babysitters here, and this is the perfect opportunity to experience Wexford Nitelife. I can arrange passes to the local Late Bar if it’s dancing you’re looking for, or just suggest some lovely spots for live music and laughs.
So join us in Wexford when the kids are back at school, stay both Friday 23rd & Saturday 24th in a Classic Upgrade Room single occupancy for two nights B&B and one evening meal on Saturday, or arrive Saturday for just one night, dinner, B&B.
Arrive Friday September 23rd x 2 nights – €220
Arrive Saturday September 24th x 1 night – €140
